Atlanta-based metal band Mastodon and Vans are dangling the product of their collaboration—the Mastodon x Vans Summer 2009 Collection specifically the Vans Sk8 High and the Vans Slip On. Each sneaker model is available in new colorways which will keep you wishing.

The four new Vans sneaker models feature the past album covers of Mastodon. Specifically, Mastodon album covers like Crack the Skye and Blood Mountain inspired the images found on the four new sneaker designs. These sneakers are now available for the taking.

Band-inspired sneakers are in these days what with the forthcoming releases of KISS and Metallica. This time it is Mastodon’s time to shine not on any apparel but on your shoe uppers.
