Expect a diverse set of goodies related to Michael Jackson now that the King of Pop has rested hopefully in peace. This is a good thing for Michael Jackson lovers who collect anything and everything about their pop hero from the tissue papers he has used (isn’t that gross?) to his ehem—underwears!
Don’t worry if you are the queasy type because this time around you will have something that will remind you of Michael Jackson that’s not only wearable but also look great—the Supra Skytop ‘Moonwalker’ Heat Sensitive Customs sneakers. This personalized Michael Jackson sneakers were designed by the Qustom Queen even before the King of Pop died. And while it was originally meant to be a sneaker made in his honor the circumstances has instead relegated it to sneakers made as a tribute to Michael Jackson.
The moonwalk, which carries the sneaker’s name, is a dance step that has been performed by others in the past but popularized and made his own by Jackson when he incorporated the dance step with his own music style.
The Supra Skytop ‘Moonwalker’ Heat Sensitive Customs sneakers have the same color scheme used in the movie poster of the 1988 Moonwalker movie. The silver color on the heel panels is used to represent Jackson’s transformation in the movie from a car then into a robot.
The sneaker has black panels and a rainbow design on the upper and onto the tongue. But here’s the kicker—the rainbow design was made with heat-sensitive paints that makes the colors brighter when it heats up. The main attraction is however the cover of the shoelace which is a MJ’s portrait also made by heat sensitive paints which make his face lighter when they heat up.
