The leading crayon company, Crayola has teamed up with the leading skate shoes manufacturer, to create the Crayola x Vans Pack. This is only one of Vans’ much unique collaboration as they continue to bring us quality kicks.

Here, the shoes resemble the style of coloring that can be seen from children’s coloring books. The Crayola x Vans Pack features the classic silhouette of the Vans Authentic, Era and Slip-on. The pack is said to release later this year. The shoes will also come with a free Crayola coloring book exclusively made for Vans.

A great deal of kicks are being created for this years spring and summer collections, and while a great deal of those new creations are usually bright, colorful and garish, some brands decide to keep simplicity at bay, just like the NY based brand Alife.

The brand rolled out Everybody High Lux, a shoe that features simplicity at its finest, with solid leather uppers and perforated toe boxes. The shoe is available in three classic color variations, red, black and white. The shoe also sports a suede tongue and white rubber soles with white stitching.

Action  sports footwear and apparel company, Etnies has teamed up with Ed Banger Records in the creation of the ‘Ednies’ Pack which is set to release for this year’s Fall. This is not the first time the record label collaborated with a shoe manufacturer, in the past Ed Banger Records have also made collaborations with Nike.

The Ednies pack consists of a single model in three solid color schemes; red, black and white. The shoe is made from premium leather, sleek and simple with a few perforations on the sides. A new version of Nikes Pepper Low in a grey and white color scheme hits the shelves of 21 Mercer. Some may think Pepper might not be a fitting name judging that the pair isn’t exactly spicy in appearance, but a sneaker enthusiast would think otherwise. The minimalist design and simple color way is contrary to the slew of bright and vivid kicks Nike has been creating for this year’s spring/summer.

Nike has thrown in a caboodle of the woven Nike Airs, and they don’t stop at that. They bring us two new versions of the famous running shoes in two simple color ways.

First is the one with a lime green woven body which is intercepted by a white midsole and grey outsole; a sort of teal shade can also be seen on the tongue and foot-hole. Lacoste Esteban in Dark Grey and Turquoise

Bodega and Lacoste collaborates yet again for a new version of the Esteban in a tastefully done color way. The new version features the silhouette of the classic Esteban, and a full dark grey nubuck body.

Hints of pink can be seen on the tongue, laces, lace holders and heel while the upper midsole and heel is designed with a turquoise stripe. The grey gives the shoe a simple yet fashionable edge, while the pink and turquoise hints gives the pair a slightly laid-back appeal, reminding me of a bubble-gum theme.

Truly the Lacoste and Bodega collaborations bring out the sweetest pairs, and for me, this one is by far the best…

Supra unveiled their latest collection for this year, its called the Supra Summer Injection Collection, also called the “Nylon Pack”.
