Nike Tennis Classic ‘Year of the Rabbit’

After Nike celebrated the year of the Tiger in 2010 with the Nike Classic Cortez and Nike Blazer Low Year of the Tiger, Nike Sportswear continues its tradition of celebrating the annual transition of the Chinese zodiac with the release of the Nike Tennis Classic ‘Year of the Rabbit’ for 2011.

Unlike last year’s releases, the Nike Tennis Classic ‘Year of the Rabbit’ is much simpler, just like a rabbit actually. It is constructed from white leather with white soles, white laces and lining, and it only has hints of metallic accents on the Swoosh and heel tab. Red print of the year 2011 is placed on the tongues, where 20 is placed on the right while 11 is on the left shoe pair. You won’t see any rabbit graphic on this Nike Tennis Classic ‘Year of the Rabbit’ except on the insole.

The Nike Tennis Classic ‘Year of the Rabbit’ is actually available for men and women in gold/white and red/white colorways, respectively.
