A simpler upper would have placed this sneaker in the altar of the world’s greatest looking sneaker. But sans that foresight, let us be contented with the slightly busy look of the upper.

We are talking about the Nike Auto Flight High – ‘Aquatone’ sneaker which consists of a simple but rather busy-looking white upper. The perforations on the side panels are very pronounced, slightly taking away the thunder from the white Nike swoosh on top of the perforations. There are also perforations on the toe box keeping the sneaker highly comfortable for the wearer.

This high top sneaker is accented by an aqua inner lining and shoelaces. However, there is no question that the real star of the show is the Aquatone detail on the midsole which makes the sneaker a real head-turner. You also get patent leather on the tongue, keeping that portion shiny with the aqua branding.

Now let’s talk some more about the midsole design which we can’t quite get over with, The design appears more like an abstract attempt to relay the idea of flight to the wearer. The design comes in exciting colors of blue green aqua, black and concord purple.
