What happens to a shoe brand named after a celebrity endorser who later on jumps camp and endorses another shoe brand? This questioned is best answered by the real life case of Kevin Garnett who used to endorse the Nike Air Garnett 3. He has since transferred loyalty and is now endorsing Adidas so the Nike shoe named after him was renamed Air Max 3.
The Nike Air Max 3 aka Air Garnett 3 may have undergone a name change but it still possesses the old aesthetics and technology. The Spring 2010 Collection will showcase new Nike Air Max 3 colorways in black and white and another one in white leather upper accented by green and black.
Both colorways of the Nike Air Max 3 (Air Garnett 3) - Spring 2010 have slight gradient patterns on the upper. The facelift, rather the name-lift is expected to divert fans attention from the previous sneaker being promoted by Garnett but no matter what it will still be the same shoes.
If you can’t wait then watch out for the Air Max in black and blue which will be released in October this year.
