This Nike Air Griffey Max 1 was announced October last year and now it is once again being introduced as its release come to a near. This sneaker is actually a rerelease of a classic sneaker that is inspired of Ken Griffey’s Seattle Mariners.
Known as a great baseball player, Ken Griffey had a chance to get a shoe exclusively for him and now Nike is making it available once again in its original color way. Nike has actually announced last year that they will be releasing two OG color ways of this model including black which they have presented couple of days ago and now in royal blue. The royal blue color way of this model includes a suede material which composes the upper.
This upper is accented with white on the middle which also carry the black Nike swoosh. This sneaker is also available with an ankle strap that includes Griffey’s number 24 and small Nike swoosh on the side it. This ankle strap is included not only to design but also to ensure proper fitting. This sneaker is finished with a white outsole that has black accents and neon air bubbles.
This classic is definitely a pair to cop this year. This Nike Air Griffey Max 1 will be available by May 2009 and is expected to include a tag of approximately $140.00.
i think that these are really ugly i dont think that there will be a lot of people that will buy these and if they do in indiana were i stat at noone i know would buy these shoes!!

@ Britney Bishop- That is probably because your town either has no taste or just can’t afford a good looking pair of Griffeys. LOL You have to appreciate the style of the shoe and the fact that they are classics. I did not get this color but I do have two pairs in different colors. Nothing but compliments when I wear them.
