Three stores have collaborated with Asics to produce the Gel Lyte III sneaker shown above. These stores include Colette, We Sold Out!, and La MJC and each of them has a goal of revitalizing Asics’ infamous classic running shoe which is Gel Lyte III.

These three stores plus Asics Gel Lyte III really make a good combination because they have created a very pleasing to look at sneaker without taking away its performance. The Asics Gel Lyte III is known as classic running shoes from the 80s giving itself the right to be designed in a modern way. They have done this by mixing materials including suede, leather, fabric, and meshed material. This sneaker’s upper is highlighted in white to make a clean looking appearance and they accented it with detailing such as the purple suede on front and heel area to make it not too dull.

They have also added some detailing including the speckled Asics logo on the side, meshed back and side panels, and black fabric collar and shoelace area. It also has toe box and side panels made of fabric making it more comfortable to wear. Other detailing includes the light blue on the insole, toe area, and outsole, pink on the midsole and outsole, and black on the mudguard and outsole.

This new version of the famous Asics Gel Lyte III will be available on the 13th of December at selected stores including Colette. Purchasing this sneaker will also give you a free spots bag but unfortunately, only 100 pairs of this will be available.
