Asics definitely had a great year this 2008 when it comes to their releases of sneakers. This time they are extending this success on the coming 2009. For 2009, they will be releasing another running sneaker in retro style called the Asics GT II.

This Asics GT II model is a very stylish running sneaker that could also speak of fashion aside from its function. This model from Asics is also created and made available in three different color ways. The first one is the black color way which includes the use of nylon, suede, and textured leather. This nylon material can be found on the toe box and side panels of this sneaker. This material is surrounded by textured leather on the side panels and shoelace lining. These leather and nylon material are highlighted in black and accented with a blue suede material which is found on front of the sneaker and on the heel tab. This also includes blue shoelaces and yellow tongue giving this sneaker the accent.

The second version includes a white fabric toe box and side panels with accents of orange suede on front and back of the sneaker. This sneaker also has a blue leather material on the side giving it additional accent. This version comes with an orange shoelace and white tongue. The third color way looks classic with its white stamped leather on the nylon side panels and toe box. This sneaker has accents of blue on the nylon tongue and heel tab. This also includes a pinkish logo on the side panels and yellow insole lining.

Asics has not given any exact dates for the release of these Asics GT II models but it is assured to drop off by 2009 at Asics retailers.
