We have always associated the Bulls with Nike, and both brands have become synonymous ever since. It is thus a big surprise for us to see the Bulls associated with another brand like Adidas.
The Adidas Phantom II “Chicago” sneaker is actually a re-release of the original Phantom II but this time it comes in the special color scheme identified with the Chicago Bulls. The sneaker comes in a Bulls red leather upper. The same red leather is used for the toe box and the heel panel to match the red shoe laces. The Chicago Bulls logo however lords it on the sneaker’s tongue.
The Adidas Phantom II “Chicago” sneaker comes with the iconic Adidas three stripe although it was used here creatively to match the color scheme. The Adidas three leaf logo is found on the side panel while the word “Bulls” is found on the heel of each shoe.
This version is just one of the many color schemes Adidas is set to release next year, with a different NBA team for each country and city. If you’re still hooked on the Chicago Bulls success when they still had Jordan, Pippen and Rodman then this is a great way to reminisce those times.
